Self-drive car rental company Zoomcar is integrating Israel-based Mobileye’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to its fleet of cars in a bid to reduce road accidents that occur primarily due to driver inattention.

At launch, Zoomcar has installed this system in 40 Mahindra and Ford vehicles in New Delhi and plans to extend it to other metro cities in India. Zoomcar said that it plans to leverage these initial learnings and subsequently integrate this system to over 10,000 cars by the end of 2017.
