[Insightec in The State Journal] WVU’s Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute leads breakthrough on Alzheimer’s treatment

But there appears to be a dramatic breakthrough in the treatment of Alzheimer’s and other forms of early-onset dementia on the horizon, as the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute has teamed with Israeli company INSIGHTEC to use ultrasound waves to open up the brain’s blood barrier and potentially free up plaque-blocked regions.
