Another automotive tech startup to reach new heights this year — and bringing us one step closer to self-driving cars — was the Kfar Saba-based Innoviz Technologies, which developed a 3D remote sensor based on LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to generate a precise and constantly updating 3D map of a car’s surroundings.
