OurCrowd’s portfolio company BioCatch featured on Fast Company

OurCrowd portfolio company BioCatch was featured in award-winning tech magazine, Fast Company. BioCatch has developed a novel form of authentication used by online businesses to continuously guarantee users are who they say they are, by analyzing their behavioral and cognitive responses. One security company, Israel-based biometrics authentication firm BioCatch, recently turned visualizations of attacks on their clients into an online art gallery. The result, called the Art of Fraud, is essentially an advertisement for the company’s services. It’s also a perfect example of how security firms are turning to data visualizations and graphic representations of attacks to serve their clients and mitigate online attacks. BioCatch raised $3,334,500 from OurCrowd investors in February 2014. Read more on Fast Company...

Sign up to listen to the podcast on iTunes * Sticher * SoundCloud!  ——————————————— One of the most exciting manifestations of crowdfunding can be found right now in the real estate sector. Investment properties, which were once owned wholly by large real estate firms, are now finding crowdfunding investor interest. On this week’s TWiC, hosts Zack Miller and David Stark hosted Realty Mogul’s CEO and founder, Jilliene Helman, to talk about how her firm got off the ground and is now working with both top-flight real estate development projects and attracting investor interest. Watson on Crowdfunding tackles the complicated — but really important — issue of accreditation...
