OurCrowd portfolio company EdenShield was featured in the Times of Israel, an English-language news website covering Israel, the region & the Jewish world. EdenShield are the producers of a novel plant extract from the Israeli Judean Desert that makes crops odorless to pests, preventing multi-billion dollar crop damage. EdenShield, an Israeli agritech start-up that has pioneered the development of natural pesticides, has raised over $1 million to expand its operations and establish a distribution network […] The investment round was led by Israeli crowdfunding platform OurCrowd. With the new funding, EdenShield will begin wide-scale marketing of its first two products, NET, which is applied to greenhouse screens, and DIRECT, is meant to be applied directly to greenhouse flowers and medical cannabis.
